A while ago, the CEOs of the Netherlands’ largest food producers and companies gathered for a very special dinner: the Net-Positive Dinner. Initiated by the Net Positive Network (in collaboration with Deloitte), this gathering sparked discussions about the future of our food supply chain. Daymakers transformed this dinner into a truly unique experience.
The Net-Positive Dinner marked the kickoff of a movement we initiated together with Deloitte. A movement where the entire food supply chain came together to work toward a Net-Positive food system. It was a meaningful gathering filled with ideas and enthusiasm, all focused on a future where our food is not only delicious but also beneficial for people, animals, and our planet.

Five large billboards with constantly changing messages created a stimulating experience upon arrival. By illuminating the billboards in different colors every few seconds, new texts became visible, offering fresh perspectives. The goal of this opening experience was to immerse guests in a different world from the moment they arrived and immediately get them thinking about the theme.
After this, guests gathered in a central space, where a spoken word artist seamlessly wove the billboard messages into an inspiring story.
By combining light, materials, and colors, we were able to display different messages, creating an immersive experience for guests as they walked through.
As the spoken word artist delivered her final line, the curtain dropped, revealing the seating arrangement among white shelves where the dinner took place. Amid these white shelves, a carefully curated selection of dishes and speakers highlighted the evening’s theme, further enhanced by digital content.
The Net-Positive Dinner marked the kickoff of a movement. This movement was reinforced once more during the closing experience as guests left the event. A light projection on the floor quite literally set them in motion, both physically and figuratively.
